Job Description :

The Role: Communications Designer

What you’ll do:

  • Conceptualize, design, create, and execute clear ideas and concepts via creative assets — both digital and print — for the CRU brand and its subsidiaries (eg. marketing collaterals, logos, digital displays, menus, signboards, brochures, posters, packaging materials, advertisements, promotion materials, short digital videos, 3D animation, product photography, product design, UI/UX design etc.)
  • Utilize two or three-dimensional art (including still images, video, motion graphics) to create visual concepts that ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception
  • Create corporate identity design documents for company and its subsidiaries
  • Manage and design all interactive projects; collaborating with cross-functional teams to incorporate typesetting, illustration, photography and moving visuals in communication and event programming
  • Understand the CRU identity and translate the essence of the brand effectively to consumers via multimedia solutions that are visually enticing, easy to understand, compelling, and emotionally impactful
  • Assist with creation of presentation decks to ensure information is designed with the end user in mind, i.e. information is easy to find, read, and understand
  • Assist with updating and maintaining social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and website
  • Stay on top of the latest standards, processes, and trends in the visual design field

What you’ll need:

  • 3-4 years of industry experience; experience with consumer products preferred
    Solid knowledge of design and visual principles, including UI/UX design
  • Mastery of design software and technologies including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, Animate, Premier Pro, and/or equivalent softwares
  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing creative, design and software skills
  • Ability to evaluate choices critically with consumer needs in mind, and communicate design choices clearly
  • Great multi-tasking and organisational skills with an aptitude for managing multiple on-going timelines under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively
  • Photography experience required
